Sky channels

I wonder if someone at sky sports could explain why there are 5 channels with scocer sat on ,surely there other sports

Although a quick look at the EPG shows PGA Golf, Cricket, F1 and Tennis.

404 Golf

405 Cricket

406 Golf

407 F1 

408 Tennis

409 GGS as usual

412 Rugby

@Gazza02  it does seem a bit of overkill to have the same programme on several channels but I think you have just caught an 'in between' time

There are 2 dedicated Football channels  (SkySp Pl & SkySp F'ball) and SKY Sports ME usually just simulcast the 'Main'  sport at that time - it rarely just 'dips in' for a short period so looks like awaiting the next live match. 

The Live Scores' is, I think  primarily a SKY Sports News programme that is, as I mention above, just being simulcast on the main Football channels during a break in live matches

Not sure which other channel you notice to make 5 (uless you count ME UHD & ME HD as 2 channels) 

As others mention there is live Cricket (including UHD via Red button), Live Golf (DP World as I started typng which has now switched to the PGA Early coverage that was already being shown on SKY Sports+)   & Live Tennis as well as the usual replays on F1 channel  - edit as @Daniel0210 mentions Live Rugby as well
