Sky Tv issues

Hello,

Anything I try to record fails as says 'power cut'.

also every now and again I lose the picture on my tv, I can still hear perfectly fine but tv screen has gone completely black.

only had sky tv fitted for 5 days.

@Taryn.Check that the mains plug going into your Q box has not worked loose, if they are not plugged right in they can work loose.
