Have just upgraded to Sky Q box, and have the full Sky Sports package. When trying to load the Sky Sports app I get a message 'There is a technical issue. Please try again later. Code WGT8. Widget 1.64.0.' This happens both when selecting the app, and when pressing the red button on channel 412.
I've only had the Sky Q box for a couple of days so should I be more patient (!) or ought I to contact Sky ?

Sorted ! Refreshing the apps worked. I can now view the Sky Sports app - thanks

@neil-45 is your Q box on the latest firmware/software which is Q270 you can find this by pressing the home button scrolling down to settings then system info if its not try updating your firmware/software

Thanks guys but still no joy. I did upgrade to Q270 (it was Q230). I checked the settings after to make sure but at present still get same error message.

@neil-45 you could try refreshing the apps in the engineers menu
To enter the engineers menu do the follow
press the home button then scroll down to setting and hi-light
do not press select/enter but press 001 then select this takes you into the engineers menu
scroll down to apps > refresh
