Sky Sports Plus

Dear Sir/Madam, I was watching the live stream of Exeter City v Rotherham United on Saturday via the red button function of Sky Sports+, however, a couple of times during the match the stream unfortunately errored. This therefore meant that I had to restart up the stream, however, not wanting to miss any of the match I rewound it back to where I was before it errored. This obviously meant that I was behind where the match was live. Towards the end of the match, or my viewing of it due to being behind, the match just automatically went off. When going back onto the Sky Sports+ function, the stream was then nowhere to be seen, possibly because in real time the match may well have finished. I was just wondering if it would be possible please for you to help me out with the above and also let me know why these things would have happened. What is the point of having the rewind function if the stream is just going to automatically go off when it has finished in real time? Lastly, roughly how long after the conclusion of a match does a stream end?

Welcome to the Sky Community forum, where customers like you are on hand 24/7 (almost) to offer some fantastic advice and help on all things Sky-related. 

 

We were aware of an on screen message appearing at the 90th minute which advised 'Coverage will commence shortly' but the stream didn't return, our engineers have investigated this and we shared the Community feedback with them!

 

We haven't had any other reports of issues happening through this game, but please let us know if you spot something not quite right so we can feed this back to the relevant teams 😊
