Sky Sports Complete Package does not include HD sports channels

over 3 years ago my son noticed that I was paying for sky sports complete pack all channels come in HD he then noticed that they were charging me extra for HD for sky sports as on a solicitors Advice I  Warned  that they were miss selling  contract to millions of I just been renewing my contract and I see the HD has actually been removed but there is no evidence after what date I can find however also VIP customers and customers without Qbox says all our channels are in HD so why are they trying to charge us extra for the sport this needs to stop you are ripping customers off by millions or millions of pounds each year absolutely disgusting

Unless you are in the ROI then the Sky Sports package on Q does include HD as standard.

I think part of the probem is that SKY Sports in the UK does include HD as standard but as mentioned earlier in this discussion it still appears as a separate entry on the bills - the advertised cost is the combined cost of  SkY Sports pack + the SKY Sports HD together which cannot be separated

The separate optional (non Sports) HD add on applies to the channels   covered by the base Signature Channels  Some Free to Air channels are free in HD (e.g. BBC) but others may be FTA in SD only  but need the optional HD add on for the HD version and downloads - such as W

@PAULINEBRIGHT A few years ago now HD was included as standard with the Sports Pack in the UK. However, the charges still show separately on the bill.

Hi @PAULINEBRIGHT   You are not being charged extra for Sky Sports HD, it is just the legacy way it is shown on our bills. The HD portion on the bill has been deducted from the Sky Sports entry.
