Sky Q

I have had to factory reset my sky q box and now my remote won't work. my screen in stuck on accessibility on sky Q and I can't finish the set up because the remote won't work

This message seems to have caused a bit of a quirk & needs the remote to be in IR mode but as you have reset your box you need to reset the remote also

Do a full remote reset by pressing & holdng 7 & 9 until the red led above the SKY logo button flashes 4 times

 

Now ensure it is pointing at the box & you should be able to dismiss the message

Then try pressing & holding  1&3 together & follow the on screen messages to re-pair & pair with the TV
