Had Sky Q a few weeks now. I cannot access the US Open tennis on the red button. just keeps saying This app is currently unavailable. Please try again later. Tried switching box off at mains, did an update on box and checked my broadband connection, nothing seems to work. I can however access this via Sky go on my phone

OK Guys, I've sorted this for me by following the steps here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/apps-on-sky-q-and-glass-basic-checks
... in particular, the "Refresh your apps" step:
On Sky Q:
The refresh can take 24 hours to complete.
.... I got to the 'Your apps are being refreshed' message and left it doing its thing for a while
.... when I got fed-up with that I tried returning to normal viewing and found that the screen had frozen
... so I had to power down again
... but when it all came back up, my red button was working !!!!!!!!!
Hope this is of some use to others 😀

I too have this problem, the red button works on other channels but not when I'm watching the US Open tennis on any of the Sky channels offering it 😞

Still no joy, seen a few posts like this now. clearly this is a Sky software issue problem and not specifically my box. Quick to brag about there great service, slow to fix. do they even bother looking at these posts. Poor service again

@FleetFred Yes that did the trick, had to update the software on the box first but now all is good thanks for your help. : )

- Press 0,0,1 and Select to access the Installer menu

Good solution @FleetFred I didn't have to refresh all the apps as mine is working correctly now.
Would have used your solution if it hadn't corrected itself 👍
