Re: Sky Q questions
I will cc in one of the other Superusers who has compiled a helpful guide for those thinking of transitioning from Plus to Q which may provide some insight into something you hadn't considered.
cc @nigea99
If the dish is still in good order they won't change it but will change the LNB on the end of the arm on it.

hi @kizzy1968
As @Daniel0210 mentions you may wish to read some notes I have made for people considering switching from SKY +/HD to SKY Q
which may help.
Any further questions or is unclear, feel free to ask
(BTW the Hybrid LNBs mentioned for use with Freesat boxes/TVs are no longer available via SKY)

Re: Sky Q questions
Thanks for the help. The reason I was asking is because out cables are hidden behind some rough casting and it would be a nightmare to renew the cables

Re: Sky Q questions
As long as it's a twin cable feed in good condition and going to the location where you want the main Q box, it will be re-used.
