Sky Q no HD

Evening. We've just had some work done at the house and both Sky Ariel's were removed. I can now only get a signal on non HD channels when just 1 port is used. I've tried both configurations (Ariel's/ports) with no success.

if both ports are in, in either config there is no signal.
any help would be appreciated

hi @Lucy47

It sounds like maybe one of the cables may be causing a short on the power.

Check that none of the fine very strands of the outer sheathing copeer are touching the central core wire.

BTW with SKY Q each cable carries approx half the channels - one is used for each polarity - one for horizontal & one for vertical

Hi @Lucy47

Check that both cables do not have the central copper conductor bent or broken.

They should sit exactly in the centre of the connector and protrude by 2  or 3 mm

Re: Sky Q no HD
