Sky Q - network issues

I've been fighting with Sky Q for about 6 months now and it's just a massive downgrade for me from Sky+. I have a wirelesss network that it isn't compatible with, Deco M5 a very popular home network. So in order to get around this I have to go into the engineers menu on each box and turn off wifi and hard wire all into my network. That in itself is not acceptable but I'd take it if it were all my problems solved.

The mini boxes take ages to download programs, 5 minutes for an hour long program at least. during this download if you touch the fast forward button on a partly downloaded program being played the whole thing freezes until fully downloaded.

As soon as you start watching a recorded program, the box kicks off a download automatically for the next in series - great but this also kills what you're currently watching.

The boxes themselves turn wifi back on after software updates that I have no control over, so I have to go back into the engineers menu and turn wifi off on all boxes.

Once a week or more, one of the Sky Q mini boxes loses connection and won't find the master box so I have to walk around rebooting every one and manually turning them on, rediscover from the Sky Q Mini box

Lastly and this is the real kicker, every 3 months or so the Sky Q boxes completely kills my home network and I have to turn them all off to stop an internal DNS attack in my house by Sky on my network. That's hours of lost work each time and if I'm not in the house, I have to walk a non-technical person through this process.
