Sky Q network connection status

Home Screen saying I don't have an internet connection, go to settings and have ticks next to every box! Sky mini box not connecting to Q box.  Wi-Fi provider has checked connection and everything fine - how do I fix this becoming very frustrating

Who is your WiFi provider?

 

A non-Sky router will only connect on 2.4GHz band.  Any steering to 5GHz will disconnect.

 

Good recommendation is to split bands and have separate SSID's.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
