Sky Q needs rebooting

Each week now for at least the last mo th the inly way to turn in my sky box is to do a reboot and then all is okay. Some times twice a week. It just wont turn on with the remote from stand by.

Hi @Clare_Mal   To eliminate a possible fault with your remote, try switching on the box using the actual box power button.

Box is dying. Go through the troubleshooter on sky.com until it leads to ordering a replacement. Having said that, some people seem to get replacements with sinilar issues 😕

 

worth trying a full factory reset before that since you'll lose all your recordings and settings either way. A Settings reset (which doesn't lose recordings) might be worth a try but I doubt it will help.
