Had Sky Q for more than 6 months with main box in lounge and 2 mini boxes the one in the kitchen just stopped working. The sky router in the kitchen shows 3 green lights power connectivity and wi fi. Rebooted the main box in the lounge which had no effect so did a factory reset on the minibox. Then tried to pair the minibox with main box but continually fails to link. The second minibox continues to work faultlessly. Checked the set up procedure on Utube for new pairing and I am following correct pairing procedure. Could this be a fault with the minibox and replacement needed?

Hi @Bazzer1 In the following order:- Try rebooting your router by removing the power cable for 30 sec then reconnect to reboot, then reboot your main SKYQ box by turning the power off at the socket for 30 sec then turn back on, then do the same with any Mini boxes?

Many thanks for the very helpful responses and I have now sorted out the issue. Sky very kindly replaced the mini box which did resolve my problem. However I did have problems trying to get the new remote to activate and eventually this was traced to faulty batteries. They were supposedly new and my battery tester did confirm that they were fully loaded but replacing them did work and all systems now working correctly. Moral to the story always start with basics and work forward eliminating as you go. The battery issue cost me about 2 hours of wasted energy and research!
