Sky Q mini or Sky Mini

Hi!
looking to get a TV for my son for Christmas, but need to purchase a new box for his room.

we already have Sky Q and a Sky Q mini in the house - what box do I need to get for the 3rd TV - it will need to record items not just watch.

Thank you

Another mini box.  Sky will loan you one for an admin fee (usually £50).  As you already have a multiroom sub there's no other charges.

Whilst you can 'record' and play from a mini box it's actually hosted on the main Q box.

You'll also need to check which main Q box you have as some older ones only support 1 concurrent mini.  Check the hardware version here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-software-updates

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own
