Sky Q + mini network issues with Toob mesh
Hi all,
I've had Sky Q in one room and a mini box in another for some time and recently changed broadband provider to Toob. With only one router (Linksys SPNMX56BF) in the same room as the Sky Q everything was fine. I just added another router (same Linksys model) as a child node in the same room as the mini box and now the main Q box keeps losing its connection to the network. Turn off the child node and all is stable again. I had this issue before when using an Orbi mesh network and eventually ditched that and used Virgin extenders with one directly next to the Q box connected by ethernet, which solved it.
I understand that this is all to do with Sky Q not playing nicely with any mesh network and wanted to know if anyone has any advice on fixing this issue either through router settings or Sky Q settings.
One point to note is its not possible to connect Q box direct to router. If wired is the only solution I'll have to add another node.
Thanks for any advice.
