Sky Q mini looses signal when main box is turned on

Having a problem with my parents sky (the issue theyve had for a long time)

They have the main Sky Q box in the lounge connected via WiFi to non sky broadband (130mbps) and a mini box in the kitchen.

My dad sits in the kitchen in the morning watching the TV absolutely fine, but as soon as someone's turns the main box on in the lounge he starts to get stuttering in and loss of picture in the kitchen..... I can't work it out, can anyone help or advise why this might go like this when the main box is turned on.

Many thanks
