Randomly the box just drops the programme whilst TV stays powered on with blank screen and no sound. Turning the box off and on brings it back to life, and all is well - until the next time!

Worth testing with a different TV and cable to eliminate those but likely to need a new box by the sound of it. Before doing that drastic a step a full factory reset of the box would be worth a try.
I will try changing the HDMI cable, but how do I execute a factory reset please?
I have been reminded that the box has started dropping the Wi-Fi connection too. Have now tried turning the low energy modes off, but makes no difference.
