Sky Q issues with AV amp

My Sky Q box has been connected to Yamaha AV amp for several years without an issue. Now the AV amp changes its surround settings and locks up both remotely and manually when playing Sky channels or Apps. On other equipment it's fine. It's connected via HDMI with the settings correctly on. Any ideas?

I am sorry to report I am of no real use @Jim22 

I have not come accross similar reports with Yamaha Amps and have had them for years with my SKY main boxes and currently have an A3060 with my main Q box & V585 with my mini and have not had problems

Just out of interest which model ?
