Sky Q install
So my Sky+ box has finally died. After being asked many time to upgrade to skyQ I called and arranged to upgrade.
Initially no engineer visit for 3 MONTHS. now reduced to 5 weeks.
For something that costs nearly £1200 per year, the service is atrocious.

Sky Q is being phased out. It was widely publicised earlier this year about the satellite installer job losses as a result of this.
Unfortunately, if you want Sky Q installed, you'll need to wait for one of the increasingly limited number of installers to be available, or contact a local independent satellite installer who may be able to do it quicker, but at a cost.

Re: Sky Q install
Might be worth considering Stream. No installer visit needed. Quite a different experience though so caveat emptor.
