OR
Take out Sky protect insurance as they guarantee a next day response.

Sky installers operate in particular localities: if the local person is taking an Easter holiday (for example) and there's no-one from a neighboring patch to fill in then that's quite possible.

Hi @Anthonyd2010 are we left with no Sky though.
Quite understandable if you don't want to watch your Sky subscription via Sky Go on a mobile device or tablet.
But if you have Sky go whilst waiting for your engineer visit the Sky Go app can be installed on laptops Pcs/Mac's game consoles
PlayStation and Xbox.
Unless you don't have broadband then apologies for that
Sky Go on a laptop connected to your Tv/Monitor via HDMI cable is doable.
