Internet signsl good. Rebooted router. Rebooted SKY Q box. Downloading not working on main box or mini. Get 0% and 'no broadband', even though netflix, iplayer etc all good

I'm having exactly the same problem. Broadband working for all other aspects of the Sky Q box, but In Demand downloads fail with "No Broadband" message. Tried both Ethernet & WiFi, box shows connection to router & WiFi but downloads won't work. All fine yesterday, broken today. I've restarted both the router (TalkTalk eero) & the Sky Q box without any success.

If you look at the Sky+ board customers there are having the same issue and the common denominator appears to be TalkTalk broadband.

Sky Q downloads disabled?
Loads of threads describe downloads failing on Sky Q.
Today its my turn. All attempts to download on Sky Q fail. Also, attempts to initiate a download using the Sky Go app to a Sky Q box fail. The workaround is to use the Sky Go app and download to mobile, then cast it to my TV.
None of the suggestions described in the various threads work.
All other Sky Q functionality work. No problem recording live TV or playing old recordings. No problem streaming Netflix or Prime. I even attempted to download new Sky Software; the update said downloading but no 'red light' indicating it was recording, it just sar their until I rebooted the box.
It seems to suggest that Sky is inhibiting the download. Is it an attempt to make users leave Q and join Sky Stream? If the problem isn't fixed soon then I will leave Sky. My smart TV gives me all the strea.ing channels in addition to iPlayer and ITVX etc. Maybe I would use free view or equivalent for the convenience of switching between live channels.

I don't see loads of current threads on the Sky Q board for download issues. I have moved your post into the recent thread. Threatening to leave Sky is pointless here as we're all fellow customers.

Sky Q wont download on demand tv programmes or films I have bought
Hi it started last night , tried to watch interview with a vampire tv series, it wont download the programme , no red light when it usually starts to downloand a programme its just stuck at 0% , also tried to watch a film I have already bought this wont download either , it wont even let me download a film trailer, my apps disney, netflix, amazon prime and normal sky tv all working okay
i have tried rebooting the sky q and my wifi router as well nothing works only started happening last night anyone else having this issue in the manchester area ?
is this is known issue with sky q since last night ??

no i'm not with talk talk I think my broadband is with three network dont know if there is a issue on the three network

That is interesting, it seems that downloads stop working yesterday for several people on Sky+ and Sky Q. There is a longer thread on this under the Sky+ discussion heading but everyone on there so far seems to be on TalkTalk.

Hi.
I have been having the same problem too. Noticed it first yesterday morning. I have tried all the usual reboots etc and nothing seems to be working. I am with TalkTalk but have never had this trouble before. I am planning on calling Sky soon but am reluctant as they will probably want to send a new box and then I will lose all my recordings! Any advice?

I have spoken to Sky who are not aware of any issues (however they did spend a long time trying to up sell Glass!)and TalkTalk who say they have spoken to several customers with the same issue but have advised the problem is with Sky. There is a longer thread uner the Sky+ heading on the forum as it seems to be an issue with Sky+ and Sky Q.
