Sky Q box

Horrendous..... Cold called by Sky operative who identified I had been out of contract for years - explained different services he could get me and cheaper monthly price. Brilliant until it came to the actual use of the 'service'. Programmes on I didn't want - a second box for free which didn't transpire -price all over the place and a box that my wife cannot use - the only reason I have sky is for the wife to record soaps (recent heart attacks and lung cancer diagnosis causes problems for her for watching shows so she records them) or TRIES to. I complained about the package and a lady adjusted the programmes so that I was close to where I wanted to be. Great. Still paying through the nose for another month and then price goes down to near what I expected. However, I am not aware of what I am getting. My wife says there is now a warning notice on the Good Doctor - think it's Sky Witness - and she cannot watch it or record it. The Recordings she has made have disappeared from the box including Coro & other soaps. The box is horrendous to understand - wife likes to delete after watching so she knows where she's up to. Box won't allow deletion and comes up with series numbers which mean nothing to her. I need somebody out to explain the workings to my mrs but can I find a way to set this up? - NO. I f Virgin didn't have such a bad name I'd be looking there. As it is I'm stuck with a 'service' that doesn't come anywhere near my expectations. Is there any way of getting this resolved?

If you and your wife are struggling with how to operate and understand all the functions of Sky Q, then bit might be worth looking through all the Help articles and videos on the Sky Q box.

 

To find these:

 

1. Press Home (the house button)

2. Scroll down to Help and press enter (the button in centre of direction arrow buttons )

3. Press Sky Help tile. (First tile)

4. Go through all the help articles.
