Sky Q box won't turn on even when the light is green

When I turn on my sky Q box the light goes green but nothing on the screen. I have to unplug it and do a reboot every time.

When you turn on the Q box is the television set already on or is it in standby?

When I press the power button on my sky q remote it turns on my sky ,my TV and home cinema kit.

Sorry I should have explained that a bit better.  My sky q remote turns on my sky,TV and my Denon home cinema. When I hit the power button everything comes on but there's no pictures or sound from the sky even though the green light is on. I have to unplug the power lead and plug it back in again and it reboots no problem. But you shouldn't have to do that. Cheers Gordon.

Mmm

There can be issues if your Q box is going through a Denon AV.

Best to make sure that the television is always switched to the correct HDMI input when you switch it off
