Sky Q box switching it's self off.

While watching a non-live program ( Disney last night ), the tv suddenly goes black, the blue "Q" light on the front of the sky box goes out and the little led on front of the box stays green. When the "Sky" button on the remote is pressed the tv comes back on, and every thing is ok.  I have been in touch with Sky a few months ago and after doing a full reset they sent me a new box, that did the same so after doing a full reset on that one they sent me another one which is the one I have now, I have changed the cables with each new box.  I hope that all makes sense.

was it a Recording you were watching or the Disney App?

It was on the app, through the Sky box

I assume that no one else has had this problem which is making me think that it is not a problem caused by the Sky box itself as it has happened to 3 boxes.

Loads of people are having this problem, there's a big thread about the Disney+ app specifically.

Type Disney in the searchbox at the top and it's right there

 

No solution though so only useful for empathising.

I'm having the same problem but using the My5 app. Just watched 7 episodes of under the dome  now it either doesn't load or turns off the sky box. This has happened on the main box and the smaller box. 
very annoying. 
I have to use the reset button on the back of the box to get anything to appear. 
help.

I would try deleting and re-downloading that episode. Maybe a corrupt recording.

It's not a recording it's being streamed online. On My5 app.

Do you have another My5 app on any platform you can use to test the episode is ok?

It works fine on fire stick. Just sky Q the problem.
