Sky Q box on but no home screen on my tv

My Sky Q mini box in my kitchen is connected to power, goes from amber LED to green when I use the remote power button but no sky Home Screen appears on my tv. I'm on the correct HDMI input on my tv and it recognises it's connected to a device but nothing appearing. 

having turned the power to the box off and on again, I get a 'welcome to sky' message appear so no loose connections but then also no sky Home Screen.

I phoned Sky yesterday to cancel TNT sports and it had been working perfectly prior to this phone call. Any help appreciated

If you haven't already try rebooting the main Sky Q box, then when that's back up and running do the same with the mini box.
