Sky Q box not working

main box flashing red & green to screen saying updating software step 1of2 but doesn't move from their

Hi @Rhylan Try:-

  1. Switch the Sky Q box off at the mains.
  2. Hold down the standby button on the front of the box, then switch it back on at the mains.
  3. Keep the standby button held down until you see alternating red and amber lights on the front of the box. This will start a software update.

@Rhylan The Mini box connects to the main SKYQ box, if the main box is not up and running then the Mini box will not work.

@Rhylan A Sky Q software update usually takes up to 15 minutes, but can sometimes take longer. Once the update is complete, the Sky box will switch to standby.
