Try a Network Reset found in Q box Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to connect by WiFi to your router.
If you are on Sky broadband you will be asked to press the WPS button on the Sky router. (Not on the Q box as the Network reset will start the main Q box WPS automatically). Make sure you press the WPS button on the Sky router and not the reset button.
if you are on 3rd party (non Sky ) broadband then you need to enter the SSID and password for the router 2.4 Ghz WiFi band.
If connecting by Ethernet carry out a Network reset with the Ethernet connected.

Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Select connect wired to non Sky Router (or Sky router if on Sky Broadband). Do not carry out any WPS and just wait for the box to connect. It may take a couple of minutes. If it does not connect there is an issue with the Ethernet connection.

@Quoman7 hi, there is no reset button the only option I get is to connect to the WiFi which doesn't work. I think I am all out of options here. It's been ongoing for 4 days now

I had the same problem - first time in years
Note: i only have a sky router and a sky Q box
After reading all the fixes this is what i did to fix mine
1 switch everything off inc tv and sky Q box dvd player etc
2 pull the power on the Sky Router
3 wait for 8 mins - dont know why 8 but someone else said it so i did
4 after 8 mins - plug the power back in to the router
5 wait for the 4 green LEDs to go green on the router
6 Turn the TV - sky Q box and anything else you have switched off - turn them all back on
7 Let the sky Q box and your TV do their thing ie all the programms re appear
8 Press the WPS button on the side of the sky Q router for three seconds until it starts flashing amber
9 Clear a clear view path if you have to or if you can so the router can see the sky Q box
10 And thats how i fixed mine

My sky Box not connecting to internet !
my broadband is working perfectly !
other devices are connected perfectly !
my SKy Hub not in the same room so not possible to bring it close to the sky Q but it's connected..!
dont have a sky mini box!

I had this issue - main Q box not connecting to WiFi even though it could see all available networks. Tried all the rebooting stuff ad infinitum. Nada. Zip.
By luck more than judgement I went to look at the sky mini box in another room which naturally showed no connection to Sky Q or internet and again by random choice I tried to connect it to the main Sky Q box.
After much rotation of the doughnut - an inordinately long period of time - mini box to main box connected and then - ping it connects to the internet.
I go back downstairs to the main box - not knowing what I'll find and bingo. Network connection established on main box and mini box #1
I don't know what I did or how I did it but so far so good. Meanwhile I've left mini box #2 dormant for now - connecting was always problematic with this one despite having a good strong WiFi mesh. Just thought I'd share...
