Sky Q box making turning off and making whirling noise. All mini boxes then disconnect

My Sky Q box is constantly turning off and making a whirling noise. I also lose connection to my mine boxes at the same time.  I can only get things up and going again if I remove the power supply for a short time.  I have spoken to sky and they 1st told me to update the software, which I have done and to purge to hard disk. Non of this made a difference. They then sent me a new box out.  This also hasn't made any difference.

Hi @Andy2915,

Do you have an external supply, or does the figure of 8 plug go straight into the back of the q box,

If its got an external power supply did it get replaced with the box swap ?

Power supply did not get swapped with the new box. I have spoken to sky 4 times now and  on each occasion I was told everything is now resolved. My tv has just gone off again. Very annoying as no tv in the house now as connection gone to mini boxes.

@Andy2915,

What type of power supply is it into your box,

I would try and get Sky to replace the PSU,

As @oldfella said it's been escalated so look out for a chat from a Sky Employee, they should be able to sort it out for ya

Still got this issue. To off again at the moment. Absolute joke that this haven't been resolved after over 6 phone calls, and 3 different Q boxes.
