Sky Q box hard disk issue

Last night we had a power surge and lost power for about 40 minutes. 
Although the Sky Q box came on and we were able to watch TV; we cannot access our recordings or pause, or wind back live TV. 
I have turned it off and back on again after 10 minutes but it still doesn't work properly.
