My Sky Q Mini box has been every second and cuts out audio. It's impossible to watch live TV or recordings. I've put up with it for the last week, but t's really frustrating me now.
I've tried resetting this, the main box and broadband router multiple times, yet it does nothing. Tried switching it off at the mains as well as unplugging it there - again, no change. I've gone to Settings > Status and both 'connections to Sky Q box' and 'network connection' are checked. There's nothing wrong with the satellite signal, either.
Do I have a faulty HDMI cable? Is the box itself giving way? What is going on? This has been happening loads recently and it's really irritating.

Hi @BeachBoy99
Try a Network Reset on the mini.
Network Reset found in mini Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to WPS with main Q box.
You will be asked to press the WPS button on the main Q box (not the mini).
If you are on Sky Broadband and the Router is nearer to the mini than the main box then you can try pressing WPS on the router instead of the main Q box

Hi @oldfella. Thanks for responding so quickly.
This is something I've attempted time and time again, but to absolutely no avail. My recordings and live TV are still freezing every few seconds.
The router is closer to the Mini box than the main Q box, but doesn't have a WPS button on it anywhere.

Hi @BeachBoy99
All routers have a WPS button.
You can connect by WiFi to your router if you are on Sky broadband.
If your router is this one the WPS button location is as above

Hi. We rang Sky today and it turns out the problem in this instance was the lack of disk space available from recordings, which was at 93%. My parents have the main Q box (mine is the Mini) and they were cluttered with programmes they'd recorded (some from three years ago) but never watched. We've erased them down to 45% of the available disk space and it's now working fine.
