Sky Q and Paramount +

I see from in here a lot of folk are having issues with Sky and getting the paramount app to work. 

i have sky q with the cinema package so get the basic paramount for free. the app has been working fine for months. Then this last week it will not load. It asks for a username or password. I can see from my subscription that paramount is listed and says current. 

i tried all the usual steps. (Reboot box, app refresh). Eventually rang sky. After 15 mins explaining the issue the lady told me they were aware of the issue and are working on it. From other posts this seems to be going on for ages. 

can a super user find out when they think the issue will be resolved. Maybe get them to put up a notice somewhere to save peeps a tonne of time troubleshooting.

I did not have your problem but I installed paramount+ on my applet box  as well as my I phone  they as ask for user name and password all I did was use the  Sky user name which is my email address and password which I used to sign into sky  go app and it connected to paramount + no problem why trythatonyousky box

Tried downloading the paramount app onto phone. It would not recognise my sky q credentials.

You say you refreshed the app, what do you get  when you log in to  Sky.com/paramountplus-activate  web page, when you put in your Sky credentials if said you are linked it should  get the "you already have it "  if you are activated. Other wise it will take you though the activateion procedure,  which strange as you say the app was working till quite recently. The only reason I ask is you also say that that paramount  dose not recognise you Sky credentials on your phone  gives impression that paramount + have forgotten that you are a Sky customer. If you are getting the message on the Sky activate  web page that you " already have  pamamiunt + " reconicing your Sky credentials there itshouldreconice it on your  phone

@Bigjoedub during the initial registration for paramount + you would have been asked to create an accout you will need to sign in using the e-mail address and password you used to create the account as in the link below

have tried all suggestions.  still no joy.

 

as mentiond Sky on the call admitted it was a know issue.  just no timing on resolution. was hopeing a super user had word on this.

 

another pic for clarity.  as you can see it is showing I currently have the basic package.  it just wont sign in.

If it is a known issue I haven't seen anything shared to confirm that with Superusers personally.

 

Don't know if I'm lucky, but I watch Landman via the app on Q without issue every week. I have paid the extra £3 to get rid of ads though.
