Sky Q TV guide not loading even after carrying out a reboot

The TV guide will not download on my main Sky Q box,  even after I tried rebooting the box

(switching the box off at the mains, leaving it off for five minutes then switching it back on again)  I have also tried updating the settings on my main Sky Q box but it has failed to resolve the problem.  When trying to select the TV guide it just shows a circle going round and round and the words "Waiting for TV Schedule"

I am having trouble getting the to guide to load. I've rebooted the box but it still doesn't work. This in turn halts any recordings because it doesn't know what channel it is on.

 

this happens a lot. Occasionally it fixes itself but then it happens again and again.

 

this is on both boxes and both are switched off at night.
