Sky mini has suddenly stuck on a 'new update'page

Last night I tried to turn in my tv and sky mini box and was greeted by a notification of some updates (I've attached the picture) but, I can't get off that screen. The box is no longer responding to the remote. I've tried resetting the remote, put in new batteries, etc so I know it's not that.

I turned off the box all night and all day, just turned it back on and it is still stuck on the same screen.  I've tried doing the reset button on the box also but to no avail.

Anyone with any ideas?

With the mini box on with green led try completly resetting your mini Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the mini box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

Hi...thanks for responding.  I've done that a few times. It doesn't come up on the screen. It won't budge of that picture I posted.

Just try the 7 &9 step first.

ie

On your mini remote press and hold 7 & 9 on the remote until it's led flashes four times.

This will set the remote to infrared mode which will work all boxes in line of site.

Reboot the mini again and then see if the remote will get past the update screen

Remember to point the remote at the mini .

If you can get the mini working then repair the remote by pressing 1 & 3 and following onscreen instructions.
