Can I connect my sky Q mini box to any Sky Q main box? Im moving home & have a mini box in my room & the house I'm moving to has sky q with multiroom so can i take it & connect to the main box in the house im moving to or will it only work on the Q box in the place im leaving?
Your Sky equipment can only be used at the account address. If you're moving house the current occupants will need to take their Sky boxes with them.

And incidentally, if the main Q box changes, the mini box has to be sort of 're-paired' with it.
I found this out yesterday, after I'd installed a replacement main box. The mini box reported the Q box had changed, and had to be matched to it. It was just a case of pressing a couple of buttons, and was very straightforward.
