My Sky Q box freezes on Standby (yellow light on) and will not respond to the Remote. I have checked the remote, and put new batteries.
I have to swith off and restart Q box nearly every time.
It also freezes whilst in use. If I for instance I watch a netflix program and then exit Netflix. Say I had previously been watching BBC2 then the system is frozen on BBC2 and I can't select anything else.

Hi,
Thanks for the info.
I realised that the Sound bar Base speaker was on top of the Q box and with the warmer weather it was overheating. Re- rranged setup and then updated the software, had to do this twice, but now all is well.
Thanks for your advice and help, much appreciated.

Follow the instructions here and if it still doesn't work it'll show you how to order a replacement box:
