I have a Sky Q box that is working fine. And a Sky Q booster that has all 3 green lights, and my multi room mini sky box is connected to my booster.
I have just swapped over to Sky Broadband, but when I search WiFi to connect to on my mobile phone, it's still showing my Sky Q Booster as it's old name from when I had BT Broadband, and says no internet when I connect to it on my phone.
I was expecting a new WiFi called example 'Ske Extension 2' or something similar, like it did when I was on BT Broadband, I had my normal BT WiFi off my router, then a 2nd connection available coming from the Sky Q booster, but now even though my Sky Main Box and Mini Box are both working, and there are all green lights on my router and Sky Q booster, there doesn't seem to be an additional WiFi to connect to for other devices like my mobile coming from the Booster box.
I have tried resetting the Sky Q Booster but still nothing appears?
Thanks

@Mikey76 as you now have Sky as your broadband supplier all you need to do is to connect to the Sky ssid as this broadcasts from all the Q boxes main and any minis and from the boosters as well (boosters and Q boxes will broadcast the same ssid).
If you have an andrioid phone you can use something like wifi analyser and you will see the different access points
I think there are similiar apps for apple devices

Hi,
I've since realised the additional WiFi that I did have and was missing, was from my BT Extender Plug 1200, I've since reset this and I now have a separate Sky WiFi to connect to. Thanks
