Same!
In fact D+ seemed to be behaving for the last few days, but the last two nights, back to picture breakup, and we now have it doing the same on our Mini although not as bad.

Forgot to metion the Mini issue is on live TV and not streaming.

Yes, my family's skyQ-mini viewers are now reporting pixelating and black screen issues on live TV and I'm even seeing this on main box live viewing - not good at all!

Same issue. Very annoying.

After posting last week that apps were pixelating, tonight a recorded programme pixelated during play back. When will Sky provide a response to this issue?

Update on passive cooling: over 2 hrs viewing on Netflix tonight and it's was the best ever since this issues started and didn't distract us from enjoying a film - Anna. I even had a mini fan ready to deploy over the plate cooler but didn't need to use it!

I recently switched to Sky Stream from Sky Q, was the end of my contract and I wanted to see if it was worth the switch. Stream is decent enough, couple of missing things from Q but not sure if I'd want to switch back.
BUT, I will say the picture quality is better than what I was receiving through the Q box paying for 4K streaming and downloads. Funny enough, I noticed the differnce immediately when going to freeview to stream from my apps there with the issues I was having with Sky.
Also, no pixellation using Stream on any apps. My son uses several for watching and said nothing has happened like he was seeing on the Q box.
I've not seen any pixellation using the apps on my desktop or laptop at any point. Only when content linked to the Q box. Don't know what they've done but the quality of the 4K service and streaming apps in Sky Q has severly dropped in quality. And as people are locked in to contracts they don't seem to be in any hurry to fix it.

Also have the same issue with Netflix, prime and discovery plus

Same issue on Netflix and Disney apps. Been happening for 2 months. Anyone called Sky to ask for a refund - it's ridiculous it's taking this long to fix!

Noticed my box overheating to the point where it cant be picked up even after half an hour if being switched off. Constant pixelating not good sky, £100 + per month, downright shoddy.

@ff2233 If your box is getting that hot you need to speak to Sky as they should not be running that hot I can escalate this to Sky for you if you wish ?

This is ridiculous - I find all streaming apps used via sky q are pretty much unwatchable: pixelating, freezing, sound stops.
My other major problem is both my sky q minis disconnect every couple of minutes; screen freezes then get blank screen and disconnected from main box message. They stop for 20-30 secs, then returns.
I'm paying around £100 a month and none of my 3 boxes are working anywhere near as they should. Started around June.
All streaming apps work perfectly via smart tv but that is not the point.
Please sort this out...
