Sky Outage yesterday Programme not recorded

Several programmes did not recorded and I yesterday due to sky outage.  I have managed to use catch-up for 2 of the programmes as they were Channel 5, however I wanted to record new series from Sky Mix.  This did not record and as I on,y have essentials package I am unable to use catch-up or download .....any ideas please

@Simpin49  Have you checked the programme that you wanted to record is available as other showings?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
