Sky One / SNL UK / No HD

I have Sky One as part of Sky Signature package. I can watch all programmes with no issue except for SNL UK. Trying to record results in FAILED and trying to watch on catch-up tells me I have to upgrade my subscription.

Is this because I don't have the HD version of the channel?

hi @SamanthaBLucky 

As the default download quality is set to HD (high Definition) not SD then when you try to download and watch you are prompted to upgrade (i.e. take out the HD subscription)

You, probably, just need to change your download preference to SD
Main Menu -> Settings -> Setup -> Preferences

(Please note this setting can only be set on the Main box)

Glad this sorted it for you. 

Absolutely no need to feel silly,  it is not an obvious setting that possibly most people don't know it exists
