Hello,
We have sky multi room in 2 rooms, one upstairs, one down. Since we moved to sky fibre the one upstairs keeps on freezing with both live tv and also streaming on things we have recorded.
We have re-set the box a number of times, we have re-joined the internet and we have disconected it as well but the issue is still there and now we cannot watch any tv upstairs as its just not watchable.
Anyone else had this or know how to fix it.
Cheers
Abi

Hi @Avidblue
First try rebooting the main Q box and then when this is completely back up and running reboot the minis
To reboot press Standby on your Sky Q remote (if the box responds to the remote), and then switch off and unplug at the mains.
Wait at least 30 secs and then Plug back in and switch your Sky Q box back on at the mains.
Wait for the on screen instructions to disappear and the front led to turn Amber. Then wait for 30 secs before you press Home on your Sky Q remote or if this is not working press the standby button on the front of the Q box (Amber led)
note: some features may take up to 5 minutes to return.
Reboot the minis as above.
If the problem mini still does not connect try a Network Reset on the mini.
Network Reset found in mini Home - Settings - Setup - Network.
Highlight Status and then select Reset on the right hand side. Follow instructions to WPS with main Q box.
You will be asked to press the WPS button on the main Q box (not the mini).
If the connected mini is nearer to the problem mini than the main box then you can try pressing WPS on the connected mini instead of the main Q box

Re: Sky Multi room issues
Thanks @oldfella that does appear to have worked 🙂
Is it quite common to happen with Sky broadband do you know? We also have issued with the main box loosing lip sync, both issues have only started to happen since we moved to Sky for our broardband. Wondering if I need to move to a better internet channel to stop it?

Shouldn't be issues due to Sky Broadband @Avidblue .

Re: Sky Multi room issues
@S+Fallon
You can have a maximum of 4 mini boxes loaned to you by Sky. You can watch Sky content on two minis and the main box at the same time. You may be able to use a 3rd mini box at the same time if you’re using it for one of the apps such as Netflix.
The original 1TB (non-UHD) Sky Q box only allows one mini to be in use. All 2TBs and the UHD/HDR 1TB permit two mini boxes. Each mini box which is loaned to you may be subject to a one off upfront charge but you only need one Sky Q monthly Multiscreen subscription.
