Sky Mini boxes No TV Signal

Starting last night my Mini box shows no satellite signal.

 

Tried troubleshooting by doing the normal. 

 

Reset Network

Reactivate connection

Switch off

Switch off/On with reset button held

Reboot router

 

All of these steps done multiple times on Main box and mini box.

I also have a mini box that hasn't been plugged in for a while and tried that. As soon as it was connected it has the same issue.

 

Mini boxes show that they are connected to the main box and the network.

 

Things not working - 

Live TV, TV Guide and recordings.

 

Everything requiring internet works fine.

 

Anyone else have the same issue, I think the main box is the issue and unfortunately probably needs replaced by an engineer.

Yeah I did that as well.

 

I've managed to resolve the issue by resetting the hard drive on the main box. Unfortunately losing all recordings but it has resolved the issue for now.

@hibeenicol I can see what you have said you have tried but the only thing I don't see is if you have rebooted the main box first then rebooted the mini boxes 

ie
putting your main box into Standby then switching it off at the wall for 30 seconds
switch it back on then follow the on screen instructions

I'm having the same problem, checked dish and cables seem ok.

 

sky q box turned off and on with remote and power has been cycled.

 

Still no signal.

A visual check of the dish isn't going to confirm whether the dish is slightly out of alignment. 

 

Still no signal.

 

”No signal” tends to be a message from your TV (in which case check the cables going to the TV). A “no satellite signal” message relates to your Sky box.

It may then give you the opportunity to arrange an engineer to check the alignment of your dish. If you’re on a communal dish system in the UK you’ll have to contact your landlord or building management company rather than Sky.
