Both Sky Mini Boxes are totally blank, (but with LED and working remotes).
When switched on at the wall the 2 boot-up screens appear - this tells me the HDMI and input is correct on TV.
Then the screen goes blank.
Note (for both boxes) -
remote control works and the green and amber LEDs are working
I have tried the reset button at the back and reset the box properly according to instructions
I have tried the HOME-1-0-8-0-HOME combo
I have tried a different TV

Have you fully rebooted the main Q box (power removed and restored)?
Do this before doing the same on each Mini turn.

I will now try to restore the main Sky Q box as this is the only thing I did not do. (took off mains and rebooted yes but not restore by this way which I found on forum here:
There is a Reset Settings in the Q box hidden menu. To enter hidden menu press Home and navigate down to Settings but do not select Settings. With Settings highlighted press 0 0 1 Select. Only Carry out the first Reset (Reset Settings) as the other two will wipe all recordings.
I have pressed the reset button at the back of the sky Q mini for 30secs plus to make the LED alternate and then left it. same thing happened.

to be clear my actions are:
restore the main sky Q box.
switch off at mains - switch on.
restore each of the sky mini boxes by the button at the back.
I will update here. 🙂

The Reset Settings info is taken from one of my posts.
Obviously you can do this on the main Q box but you cannot do it on the Minis if they have a blank screen.
Also bear in mind that after a reset settings you need to re pair the Remote.
With the Q box on with green led try completly resetting your Bluetooth remote.
Press and hold 7 & 9 together on the remote until it’s led flashes four times.
Then make sure that you are pointing your remote at the Q box and press 1 & 3 together until the remote led flashes and follow onscreen instructions to re- pair.

@oldfella thank you for the advice. I have reset settings on main Q (also refreshed apps as they disappeared - via the secret settings menu).
unfortunately still blank. as all resets etc. seem not to work, nor does the home 1080 home sequence.
As the last resort I presume engineer call-out? or new boxes (although seems strange they both went with what I can only assume is a software update).
