Sky F1 channel is missing in the guide

I have a legacy package but ask F1 has disappeared from the channel list

Sky sports F1 has temporarily changed to Sky Darts coverage.

It has been temporarily name-changed to Darts until 5 January whilst there is no F1.

It is not just a name change, they are not showing any of the F1 programming at all.

There is no F1 to show as the season has ended, so rather than just show repeats they are using the channel for Darts coverage. The F1 channel returns in January.

I would be annoyed too. Fortunately I  only pay for the f1 channel March to December. I don't want a sports package as I'm only interested in motorsports.

It's 2-3 weeks of other sports coverage at no additional cost when there wouldn't be any F1 on anyway.

I have made a complaint about the removal of the F1 channel that the Sky rep seemed to know nothing about. As they are clearly not going to change their minds, I got a £10 credit against my next bill. [content removed] It doesn't change how peed off I am about Sky just doing what they want without informing customers beforehand as a minimum.

To be fair to Sky.

They have been advertising the changeover on their Sports channels, Sky Sports News and Sky Sports F1 for over a week.

In the last week or so, the Sky press release went out and has been reported in many of the papers, online and online broadcasting sites.

Plus, there is actually no live F1 or motorsport that Sky has rights too now for a few months.

This happens too with other sports, cricket, golf and football for a few months or so through the year.

There is still plenty of F1 on demand from this season and previous seasons to watch, plus many documentaries.

If you really are missing your F1 and all the on demand is not aplenty, the Sky F1 review show will be shown on Sky Sports Mix - 9pm on 24th December.

Ted in his last notebook during last weekend mentioned that Sky will be showing live the F1 75 show on 18th February and all the pre season tests , February 26-28th.

The next season kicks off  March 14-18th in Melbourne, Australia

One of the most frequent complaints in the programming forum is the amount of repeats on Sky. Now they have temporarily replaced a channel that would otherwise be showing nothing but repeats for 3 months, and there are complaints that repeats aren't being shown. Never mind, Sky Sports F1 is back in January and you'll be able to see many replays of all last seasons races and Ted's Notebook then.
