Sky Dish Installation

Hi,

Having a dish insalled in a week or so. We live in a terraces house on a new build estate so only have one exterior walls that we can install the dish on and it is north east facing. Will this work or will they insist it goes on the front of the house?

It will definitely not work. The satellite cluster is geostationary above the equator so the dish must point south.

Unfortunately, as @Chodley indicates, laws of physics do apply.

Sky UK uses the Astra 2 satellite cluster which is positioned in orbit at 28.2 degrees East of South: this necessitates a roughly 23 degrees East of South dish orientation in Britain.
