I hope so, I know the Q box is the future but I don't want to give up my HD box yet as I can fast forward through advert breaks on recordings, I heard you can't do that on Q, or have to pay extra for doing it?

I've got same film on 5 cinema channels. What's going on?

Several movie channels not playing what's listed and a couple of them are playing the same wrong movie ie sky greats and sky Thriller playing the same at different points.

Thought this was just me, went to.put on the last half hour of Mad Max on SKY Greats and instead it's some not so great romcom called "Finding you", likewise SKY SciFi/Horror should have Gravity instead it's one of the Monster Family films.

Same issue. Been like this for hours. Only happening on films where a PIN is required.
Is there an ETA on fixing the issue?

To antique Sky+ (Standard Definition) boxes, yes. Many channels have already dropped off that platform, including all BBC and ITV service.
Sky+ HD hardware continues to receive channels as it did previously, apart from some free-to-air SD service ceasing where there's an HD equivalent in place.
The current problem with Sky Cinema is a temporary operational issue.

Films seem to be getting back on track. Mad Max: Fury Road is on but started approx 10 minutes late. Other PIN protected films are back on but I don't know whether they started on time.

@BobEngineer just to clear this up you are thinking about Sky stream and not Sky Q as Sky Q has a hard drive and you can fast forward through adverts at no additional cost

I'm surprised so many still watch movies live as they're broadcast on the Sky Cinema channels, rather than downloading and watching at any time (which wasn't affected by today's problems)

Before Fury Road there was a brief (possibly partly cut off) message about returning to scheduled programming.
