Hi @Nick174 a signal issue message on your TV screen usually means the TV isnt picking up the signal from the SKYQ box, try putting your TV and SKYQ box on standby, then on your SKY Q remote press the SKY logo button on the top of the remote?

If your message on your TV screen says No Satellite signal then your dish may be out of line and needs an engineer to fix.

@Nick174  If you've already been given an appointment it will be the earliest one available,  also you should be awae yopu're not contacting Sky, no one will contact you in response to a public post on a forum.

Speaking to Sky won't get you any earluier appoijtemnt as you will have been given the earliest one available, there wil, be 100's of customers like you in the position after the stormsactoss the UK  and Sky only have a certain number of trained installers.

The only option here would be for them to take another customers earlier appoinemt and give it to you, which they they won;t do as it would be unfair.

I'm afraid having children at home isn't a priority and satellite TV isn't seen as a necessity, it is a luxury.

Maybe you could invest in some board games, watch some DVD's, or watch Freeview?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.
