Should skyq and mini have same software version?

Hi, reason I ask, having problems with sky mini, keeps freezing & stuttering when I switch livetv.. I've done all resets, network connection all good, router all good, did a sky q reset... Nothing makes a difference. Only thing I've found is skyq box has software version Q230.000 (latest) but the mini software is Q220. 000...keep downloading update but won't change.

My understanding was skyq and minis are supposed to have same software version. Any advice appreciated.

Doubt it matters much but yes. At some point the minis should pick up the new version too.

@cruy-ff-pne they should do and in the past not having the same software on the mini and the main has caused problems.

All you can do is wait until the mini upgrades which it should do or wait until the new software is availabe to download
