Series Link Issue?

Trying to set a series link for a series beginning on the Crime And Investigation Channel this Monday coming at 8pm. It will only set as 'record once' and there is no series link option available. 

Strangely enough programmes on the same channel before 8pm are doing the same thing and only the programme airing afterwards at 9pm is able to be series linked. Is anyone else having the same issue or is it my box? 

I had a similar issue with the Alibi Channel recently when for some reason the series link was dropped for the last three episodes of the last season of 'So Help Me Todd' and would only be set once. A box reboot didn't resolve it. 

I'll reboot the box later tonight and see if that sorts the issue out but from past experience I'm not holding my breath. (I do know that series links are a broadcaster issue)

 

Anyone have any ideas what I could do if anything?

Certainly not an issue with your Q box.

Any content that only shows record once is due to the action of the host broadcaster who have decided for some reason that they are not series linked

Series links are down to the programme broadcaster and the information they send Sky.

Well that's annoying ☹️ Looks like I'm going to have to manually set the programme to record every single day then.

If you have specific examples @Ray+Keenan ,

You can always query them with Sky Viewer relations.

It also doesn't help that they're  not exactly interactive on their social media accounts otherwise I'd get in touch with them that way and ask why the option isn't available
