Second Q Box issues

I have two Q boxes on my subscription. I have been having issues with my second box the last few months where I need to reboot the system regularly. In the last two days my box is not working and I cannot seem to use the remote control on this TV now at all. Can someone help please?

I take it the 'second box' is actually a Sky Q mini box? When you are rebooting are you rebooting the main Sky Q box first?

Try a reboot of the main Sky Q box, then once that’s back up and running do the same with any mini boxes if applicable -
~ Using the remote put your main Sky Q box into standby
~ switch the box off at the plug
~ wait at least 30 seconds and then switch the box back on at the plug
~ follow the on screen instructions
~ when the screen goes blank and the blue Q stops pulsating wait another 30 seconds
~ press the 🏠 button

What do you mean by not working? Could the Sky remote be faulty?

After checking the basics, ie; fresh batteries, re-pairing etc if your Sky Q remote is definitely broken/faulty, if you follow this link it should allow you to do some more troubleshooting and then it’ll send you to a form to request a replacement (there is the possibility this is not available to customers in the ROI).

It may be quicker to purchase a new remote from a retailer / larger supermarket. If you do that as well as the above you’ll have a spare.
