Scaffold

Hi I have scaffolding erected at the house. This is causing severe mental distress due to lack of tv signal. Please can someone advise what I can do

No set period - it depends partly on when it last got it's authorisation - anything from a day or 2 to a couple of weeks or more I think

@Dazzy19

You could call Sky or an independent satellite installation company and ask them to move it providing there is an alternative location. Sky will charge £65 for this.

hi @Dazzy19

I know it is not quite the same but if you have a tablet, smart phone or laptop you can use SKY Go to watch live programmes

Re: Scaffold

Thanks, for replies. I have called sky, spoke to an advisor who suggested sending an engineer. I clearly explained the issue was scaffolding on at least 2 occasions but she said it would be free. Seems t strange to me.
my recordings still work at the moment built apparently they might also go aswell. Do you know if this is true?

Eventually the box will require a subscription confirmation by satellite signal, and without that will refuse to operate at all.

I don't think Sky has ever made that public: we've been told it's now longer than it used to be so as to cope with post-storm periods with high demand for dish realignment and consequent lengthy waits for installer attendance.

Re: Scaffold

Thanks, well engineer coming Monday. I believe the scaffold will be up for 2 weeks so I'll probably have to pay for relocation in the interim.
